About Us
My name is Jennifer. I am happily married to my husband Kyler and we have one child. She is a fun spirited three year old who is constantly keeping me on my toes. I am a stay at home mom and I love every minute of my crazy fun filled days at home with my daughter.
My love for creating children's clothing began after a very disappointing shopping trip in search of the perfect outfit for my daughter to wear to some holiday parties. I searched every boutique in town and everything was either not my taste or not in my price range so I decided that I wanted to learn to sew. My mom and mother in law gave me a couple sewing lessons and then I was on my way. I instantly loved sewing and my skills developed very quickly. I started out by making clothing for my daughter and as gifts for friends. Then after much encouragement from friends and family I started offering my creations to others. In the beginning I took custom requests from people locally and then in June 2008 I started my website, www.livistitches.net. In March 2009 I also began selling on www.livistitches.etsy.com. Creating clothing for children is truly my passion and I feel so blessed to have been able to turn it into a job. I love seeing little ones wearing my creations and the pride I feel knowing my clothing is being enjoyed by so many people.
